This quilt was inspired during the Lenten season.  I have always loved this time of year, as the promises of life and renewal are everywhere.  In early March as I wandered in my chilly garden, I was struck by the Hellebores (commonly known as Lenten Rose) offering its late-winter blooms.  I wanted to create a quilt using the purple pallet of this meditative season, so I took my inspiration from this encouraging early bloomer.  This pattern features our Foundation Piecing method for fast, accurate, and fun piecing.
